She is a culture strategist at I Follow the Leader, a strategic consulting firm she founded in 2016 that specializes in culture-building strategy, initiatives, and education. She also serves as the Chief Encouragement Officer at Courage Candy Co., a sweet new venture helping to develop more courageous change agents.
Antoinetta has collaborated on projects with organizations of all sizes, from small to global nonprofits to Fortune 500 companies. She loves speaking about cultivating courage, celebrating culture, and courage-fueled conversations. After earning her Bachelor of Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, Antoinetta went on to pursue a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in nonprofit management from Western Michigan University (WMU). It was there at WMU where Antoinetta's passion for culture building deepened while interviewing CEOs from across the country on their diversity efforts. Her research culminated in an award-winning graduate paper, "Diversity in Nonprofit Leadership: Overcoming Barriers." Antoinetta is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies through Denver Seminary's Women's Leadership Cohort.
Through I Follow the Leader, Antoinetta has worked with organizations of all sizes, including small, local nonprofits and global Fortune 500 companies, with project scopes varying from team-specific to enterprise-wide. Antoinetta is based in North Carolina where she enjoys beach walks with her husband Thomas and dog Remy. She co-leads a women's parachurch ministry and serves as an eGroup leader at her church.Antoinetta is happiest when she is volunteering, learning, reading, and speaking to change agents. She is also the author of the children’s book Happy Birthday, Tulip and Violet.
